Hey folks, I found that Speedy up URL without messing with the registry thing, now I would really appreciate a correction to a very annoying tick in my Control Panel.
Every time I bring it to the screen I get the flashlight, briefcase routine. Underneath that screen is a small panel with just its edge sticking out. I click on that edge and up pops a sign that says "Couldn't load CMF.DLL, check Bin Dir in XCM.INI". Now I think that is rather insulting if not obscene, so I just click "OK" and sure enough, the "Control Panel" immediately fills in with all it's goodies and everything works as advertised. I have been fooling them for almost a year now, but the routine is becoming a real bummer. Win 95 on a 486upgrade with Pentium chip,32 Megs Ram.

Download Norton Crashguard Deluxe and run the various scanners and fixes (best to use one at a time). It will completely clean up your PC.

Then (Important) uninstall Crashguard. It will crash your computer all the time. The deluxe program is nice though -- I even paid for it.
