They've been doing Britelight demos for some time now using a "breadboard" model (which we saw pictures of - it's a sort of "rough" version that is all "open" to view the various components). They'll build prototypes in several phases - 1 watt for the R&D market which should be available this year, then 10 watt, 50 watt and 100 watt, which should be available by early 1999. They hope to make their first sale before the end of 1998. They plan to focus on the U.S. market this year, then Europe in '99.
