Generally satisfied with Datek, but some scary new issues with regard to passwords.

When you execute a trade, you really want it executed NOW. So when it doesn't, I get on the phone right away. On 3 separate occasions in the past month, the reps asked for my password in order to look at or enter the trade on their screens.

They had a gun to my head, no password, no trade or fix.

I'm not happy giving out passwords and the pain in the neck to change them once they're given out. Datek, why do you need them?

Also, it sounds like the reps are working through some kind of internet/TCP interface. Recently all servers were down except orders14. They couldn't get in either and were trying to get into orders14 themselves. I finally got into orders 14 ahead of them and had to help myself! You would think that they would have some kind of independent system or mainframe system and wouldn't have to go through TCP/IP
