Well that's unfortunate for you. Did you at least check out the site? Check it out and compare it with other sites that offer free investment advice, like stockplayer.com and stockgenie.com , or even SI's newsletter. I think that all 3 are inferior in many ways to this new site.
More specifically, equityanalysis.com is
1) more organized and easier to navigate(recommendations are split into categories) 2) more recommendations (13 a month vs. 6 for SI and 1 for stockgenie) 3) follow-ups(which SI and Stockgenie do not have). 4) gives recommendations on a variety of issues, from blue-chips to biotechs. Only SI does this.Sotckgenie focuses mainly on speculative small caps. 5) Tries to give a more impartial, comprehensive and professional analysis, by mentioning the negatives and the positives, as well as potential influences on the stock from market activity and international events, which SI does not bother mentioning. IFC reports are too short, and too positive. 6) Extra section for novice investors(not all web surfers are seasoned veterans of the market!)
If you find an outstanding site that is not well-known and that can offer users of SI helpful facts or a second opinion on matters, don't hesitate to post a link. But sites that possess those qualities are hard to find these days.
