sam, good point... MANY people don't know or care which exchange their stock is traded on. We can just look and see that there actively traded stocks on ALL THREE major exchanges: NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX.

What one needs to look at is not the exceptions, but the major movers. Look at the most actives in # of shares as well as in total $$ traded on the AMEX. Now compare those measures of "popularity" to the NASDAQ issues.

The numbers speak for themselves, with no need for extra commentary.
