Isn't it a bit unusual for an IPO to be priced this late in the day? I can't remember any of the big firms (Goldman, Morgan Stanely, ML, H&Q, ...) waiting this late in the evening for the pricing. Heck, Goldman Sach had theirs completed for GeoCities several hours ago. I know that they are going through the process because my broker called me when he got hid allocation of 100 shares, whcih he nicely gave to me. That was about average in their firm for this IPO (Bear Stearns in Chicago). None of the brokers got nearly what they requested--good news! Do you think Alex Brown is prepared to handle a hot Internet IPO? Obviously, they botched up the release of COOL last week, starting it after 2:00. I hope they don't blow another one tomorrow. If so, they will never get a big deal again. Does anyone want yet another valuation model to figure trading price of DRIV and its effect on TSQD?
