With your MBA I thought that you would not enter into such market forecasting discussions. During your studies did you ever see any studies that proved (or disproved) any market timing gimmics?

In the non-academic (real world) area the only investing "gimmic" that has consistently outperformed the market (i.e. statistically significant) was something like the Dow 10 or Low 5 strategies. These of course are fully invested 100% of the time, but I was curious if anyone had any proof a market guru or technician has successfully outperformed the market (beyond that of random chance.)

I was just hoping that we could keep the discussion on the subject at hand, assuming there is no evidence of the ability to market-time. If there is evidence please give me their phone #.
