DLS writes, I am amazed at how little the max pain numbers seem to change. DLS, coould be a bug :), but I did try and cross-check the results. Since the max. pain calc. is based off of open interest, and OI generally changes by small amounts each day (and option volume has been lightening up), I'd guess that's why the numbers don't change much. As we get closer to Aug. expiration, they better change more noticeably.
