Hey Henry,

I think my cayn bad luck followed me over here.... just
when I thought i had the last turkey out of the portfolio...
my last crap shoot (puma) turns up missing its numbers too...

Ah well I still like the prospects for this company... just
a real bummer on the revenue side. I wonder if they have
been having backlog/booking problems for a while and just
decided to use this Q with the acquisition to clean the
slate, build up some backlog and do a better job at
managing revenues. Most successful s/w companies
play the number games and adjust bookings and backlogs
to even out the revenue stream (usually showing some
% growth). They can go a couple quarters with a revenue
shortfall if the manage it ok... but eventually it
catches up and they take a one time big hit.

Hope this is the case.... last quarter sounded really
good cant believe it could go to sh*t so fast. What
happened to the increase of corporate deals, shrink
wrap products, etc... The even raised the price
on intellisync, 3.0 lists for 70 bucks vs 50 bucks for
the 2.0 version.

I will wait to hear the conference call "tone"...

Sid
