If CANADA had kept it's gold, it's currency would've been stronger. And than CANADA would've already been in a depression. This is why CANADA sold it's gold a long time ago. They knew that the USA was going to pump up M2, and float the USD higher.

Now Canada will only be in a recession, like the rest of the world. But the tide is turning. IF we believe that the JAPANESE 'economy' is near a bottom. Than it's now time to add support for the CDN buck. And if we see the USD nearing a top in NOV, than best to start now. Time for a 1% rate hike before the end of the week.
