Regional Seminar Series Projected to Increase Revenues by $600,000
Tangent Imaging Systems, a division of Scangraphics(R), Inc., (NASDAQ: SCNG), a pioneer and leader in large format scanning hardware and imaging software technology, announced today an agreement to bring Tangent Imaging Systems' products to the vast circle of ALTEK dealers in the United States. The distributor agreement includes a commitment from ALTEK to host a series of regional demonstrations highlighting Tangent technology throughout the East and the Mid-West. This initiative is projected to result in more than $600,000 in scanner and software sales over the next 12 months.
ALTEK plans a vigorous seminar schedule beginning in August. The seminars, Wide Format Digital Scanning & Scan-to-Print, positions Tangent Imaging Systems products as the top of the line US manufactured color scanner and software solutions yielding the best quality scan output. Topics highlighted will be scan-to-print, scan-to-file, and file conversion. Several dealer locations across the United States have agreed to host the seminars, which will result in a significant increase in exposure of Tangent technology to target markets.
