I am truly out of my element in softiewhare. I do play with a computers but I don't have the foggiest idea how they work. I could have told you something about open systems debate and the debate about whether miniaturization was preferable to distributed processing on the board and Cray timing at high board speeds (SOL wire length timing)and the handshake system of long line networks and redundant line multi address routing mail systems and single head solenoid printers and memory demands for transmitted pages of graphics and client driven screen pages with minimal code pages transfer, object oriented processing and its problems, binary sorting, television screen computers, client server wide area remote storage networks, preferred architecture for mass storage geometry, fibre optic data channels, packet switched networks, ground position radar control from satellite by receiver clock triangulation, asymmetric large factor encoding and told you that definitively from 1962 to 1972, before it was implemented, as I recall I did, but of computers I know nothing.
