The fear may be starting: Warning, there is a high rate of redemption today in mutual funds. My friend in TO had the 'apply in person' rule applied today at Nesbitt Burns. They suggested a 30 day hold may be required. Said few are going to money funds, unless they have to. PS: he was going to buy a index fund today, but now that's on hold. This is CDN though. But in the USA the fear is portionaly higher, than CDN.
