No, I'm not a very sophisticated investor. I was smart enough to join the party in the wildly bullish market last spring, but I don't do anything fancy. In fact, the market seems to have taken me out of the game for now--the money I made is now sitting in five stocks that I expect to have to hold for between a months and a few years, they're all under water now and my gain for the year has eroded from 5x to just 4x (maybe even less after today). I suppose if I had shorted some things over the last couple years I would have done well--until about April. At which point I would have lost it all shorting Yahoo, hehe, so I'm pretty glad I never got into all that.
