You're right Joe Bob. Anything can be made to look real on the web, but why stop there? Printed matter in a glossy brochure can be phony. Audio and Video recordings can be concocted. Where does one draw the line?

Are you stating the images ARE fake?

Ok...ok. Let's ASSUME they are for real. I too am curious as to why IMDS would show images of phantom testing rather than images using real tissue. Restriction of the FDA? Because they want to play it out little by little? Because the simulated material shows details better than real breasts do? Because it's easier to see steel balls than real lesions and they can't find women with little steel balls in their breasts?

Why is it inappropriate to show in vivo images now? Phantom images were used for setting up, calibration, development etc. I suspect IMDS can't show real images (those from Phase I testing) until the testing is complete.

I get this uneasy feeling that if Phase I was near completion, they would delay the show a bit in order to post the real images. Shareholders, the medical community, potential clients are all keen to know the progress. So posting phantom images may indicate how Phase I is actually going. There is increased pressure to provide some details to curtail the stock price slide and minimize the impact of IMDS's further share dilution. If this were a build up in a publicity campaign, they would be confident about higher share prices in the near term, and wouldn't need to double the # of shares outstanding. Of course this is all only my opinion. I have not received any info from the company in this regard..........Ben

PS. which is worse, a reverse split or doubling of outstanding shares?
