Robert: You may be interested to know of a little company called Isonics which trades on the BB. Presently, Lincoln Labs of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is testing Si-28 for the same use as IBM's Aug 3 announcement. Isonics believes that the use of the isotope of Silicon, while more expensive, will yield better results than elemental Si for the SOI process. You can bet that if the Lincoln Labs comes back with that analysis, IBM will be knocking at Isonics door since they have patent rights to Si-28 production. Woody
