LE, That is not what M Murphey meant, as you are well aware. He is merely stating that BB stocks can have a very low or negative beta(correlation) to stock indices. The raw beta for FiraMada is -.63 and the adjusted is -.09 This is compared to that of the S&P500. [This using a daily periodicity and using the range of 1/1/98 to today.] I think you need to brush up on your interpretive logic. Regards,
