Actually I have a very long timeframe, but thanks for the suggestion on Amazon. I don't short stocks but the current environment is kinder to the shorts than the longs. If NBR is a 5-year double, that means it's going to take a few years for me just to get back to breakeven, and I just bought in a few months ago. Yup...I just checked the chart. NBR was 28 three months ago. So basically, you are saying that it will take 5 years to recover the ground we lost in the last three months. That would be fine if I had bought in today, unfortunately not the case. I guess if this is the bottom (which nobody can guarantee) it would be the time to average down. I'm not here looking for sympathy either, but to say I'm pleased about what has happened to NBR's share price (through no fault of their own) over the last few months would not be accurate. Are you?
