Severe shortage on ANY intel chips in Europe..

All intel Cpu's are virtually unfindable in europe now. I have worked at the biggest intel importer in europe, and contacted an ex-colegue of mine to check the current situation. They had to buy old sets of pII from germany to make sure their stock would not dry up. PII is GONE in europe. Celeron are still a few company's who have them in stock, but they try to sell them for much more than a month ago...

As for the old p1 mmx, as far as it is available, it sells quite well.
If intel would have kept producing socket7 mmx cpu's up to 350 MHz, i think amd would have had much more problems now... smart move intel;)

Prices of all intel cpu's are increasing rapidly as the stock piles shrink. How is the situation in USA ? maybe al little delayed ? Because of the much bigger suply , and the bigger stocks.. ?
