AR,

I am sure that details of any special stock holder's meeting will be published in an appropriate time and manner, but not until the stock holders have had their chance to vote. I have shares in the company but have not received the voter's proxy.

As I have noted in previous posts on this thread, LCAV has recorded a low of $2.75 (the low of the day so far as of 03:00 PM EDT. All technical indicators are in a sell configuration. The next level of support is $2.71875 (5/18/98 low). After that look for support at $2.5625 (low of 4/8-9/98). If those levels go there is support at $2.125 and $2.00. One saving factor so far is that the downside price movement is occurring with relatively low momentum. So we might expect some periods of price recovery at these levels.

I think that the general malaise of the bear trending market has a negative affect on the Eye Care stocks. In my opinion, we are now in the first phase of a bear market which could carry the averages down over 20%. This does not bode well for the economy and could have a negative affect discretionary spending and those stocks that depend on a strong economy.
