If the analyst predictions are to be believed that earnings will be absolutely awful for at least another half year, if not a full year. If this is true then I see a minimum of a 50% correction from today's prices. I have yet to hear any reasonable bull case for the semi-equips. In that case we should perhaps be looking at which stocks are the most overpriced and best shorts. Is veco the best short around? I think this bear market could last a while and would like to prepare by getting a list of the most ridiculously overpriced stocks. What is there besides veco? While many or most of these stocks will fall 50% I would like to find the ones that will fall 70-90%. Next year around this time is probably the time to go long this sector I would guess.
