Hi Sandie,
I think you remain so cool in the midst of our market malaise...I admire you.
So glad that your Dr appointment yielded the right results!(tell me you didn't take your laptop and cell phone in with you...)
I just got back from the Veterinarian's office....she said I looked fine, except for maybe just a little evidence of stress....hehehe...
Actually, it was J's routine appointment....<g> (as some of the people here know, J is Jennyanydots, my cat, the one who made a great reputation for herself some time ago for picking winning stocks)
Laura, the Vet, knows I trade. She said she herself plans to take advantage of this big market correction....plans on picking up some of the dogs, she said.....
I asked: "Laura, how do you know which of the dogs to pick? Do you have a good contact, a reliable source?" I was thinking, hmmm... maybe she was friendly with a Wall Street type Vet in Manhattan.
Laura smiled. "The usual," she replied in answer to my question about her source. "My little birdie ," she explained.
I glanced briefly beyond her to the exotic looking parrot, a resident of the bird cage that is in her office....
"Hmmm," I mused. " Laura, do you use any kind of technical analysis to help you pick out the right dogs."
Laura laughed...a radiant and amused laugh. "Oh, Charliss!...I think that stuff is for the birds!"
" I see...., I replied. "Well, we thank you for your usual care and attention Laura." I looked around the office for J, thinking it was time for us to go home now. It took a few moments of glancing around, but then I found her.
J was perched on the back of Dr. Laura's easy chair over in the corner, right next to the bird cage. She had her ear close to the parrot's beak....as though the parrot were whispering something to her.
I thought once again, how strange life is....
Best, Charliss |
