Why I may buy more TAVA . . .

background: I bought TAVA at roughly 5, 8, 10, and 12. Backed out of it at 9 and 7. Still hold a bunch of shares. I was wondering what to do thinking that I'd hold and maybe add on an upswing if they showed me the money. But as I posted above, my attendance at the Y2K conference in SF really turned me around. Hearing the head of IT for the state of California (a Fortune 4 corporation!!!) on embedded chips made me understand why the work hasn't been flooding in. He said they would know soon what their emb. chip status is. I asked him personally to give it a guess and he said he couldn't. He just didn't have the numbers yet but would soon and would post them. WHAT I LEARNED: the embedded chip problem is still in its early days. I will watch the trend and if it dips will buy more. I now believe this could be a great spec. opportunity.

One great (scary) story he told. He said he called the IT head of the state of Missouri and asked what the state of their emb. chips situation was. The guy was miffed and told the Californian head, and this is a quote......"I don't do toasters." Great insight into the embedded chip problem, no?

Best to all, Ivan1
