Thanks for your input! I do pretty much the same as you, watching $INDU and $COMPX to tell me when to enter long trades, then using L2 screen with TOS to time entry to a specific stock. I actually watch S&P futures first.

But I know absolutely nothing on how to use Tick and TRIN indicators. Maybe you can elaborate on them a bit, if you get a chance. I would love to get a good, basic definition of Tick and TRIN and how to use them in daytrading. Would be a great help to many of us.

After getting the green light from $INDU and $COMPX, the next step is picking a stock or stocks to watch for entry. I would like to see ideas that more experienced traders might be using to select the specific stocks they watch on a given day.
