I called the company late last week and my call was returned Monday.

My take on the conversation is that ISV has many company's in various stages of interest. One company seems to be more interested than the others and is also interested in more than just the test kit. Thus Paine Webber enters the picture.

ISV's spokeslady indicated that ISV had the test kit in good enough shape to demonstrate the technology; but, it would be early 1999 before the kit would be in good enough shape to actually sell it to hospitals/doctors.

ISV's spokeslady also indicated that the company was pleased with the pace of negotiations. She also confirmed the company's cash position, burn rate, and that the company needed to do something before the end of the year.

So, maybe a little more patience is warranted here. But, clearly time is starting to run short.
