Hi Kenny,

When you start talking about your blood running, I don't know if I should be petrified or relieved ! You seem to have the keenest sense of when to take profits (or bail). I never bought into the last rally, making my final move of my 401K out of equities (well 7/8 out) back in early May. Get this -- my Dad E-mailed me about 3 weeks ago indicating we had hit a major top (i.e. suggested I sell if I hadn't already). The older I get, the wiser he becomes <grin>.

My small caps were already tanking in May, but I thought they still had good value and were going to report good earnings. I was right on both counts ! Unfortunately that did not translate into higher stock prices. Now we're all looking at CADE (do not own), APCO (own a little), MTON (own a lot) with PE from 16 to 26 !!! Who would have guessed it ?

The funny thing is that I agree with you guys -- more adjustments need to occur in the megacaps to reflect their real growth prospects. Small caps tend to correct with them, whether they're correctly priced or not.

Far cry from a year ago when I first started posting to you guys on SI ...

Regards,
Chris
