john...you are correct that the IMS script numbers only capture about 60-65% of the weekly sales. The adv retail price of Muse is about $20-21 per unit ....6 to a script About $120-125 a script. also Muse was being wholesaled by Vivus in the usa for about $16 a unit...with Vivus having the sales staff expense and advertizing exp. While overseas Astra and Janssen pick up the sales and advertizing exp ...Vivus wholesales Muse to them at about $7.00 a unit. The new factory is able to produce Muse for about $2.75 a unit while the Paco factory cost are about $4.75 a unit. .......more than you asked for but I hope it gives you the big picture production capacity of the old paco pant is 1.8 mill units a qtr while the new plant has 4 lines capacity of about a mill units a qtr per line....at max capacity the new plant wil have 8 lines with a capacity for about 8 mil units a qtr The paco plant is under contract thru 1999...the future plant in Ireland should be online in yr 2000 with the same capacity as the NJ plant.... The lines in the new factory can produce more for less per unit thru a greater level of automated equiptment.
