i agree it's pretty much over for now. The support line to the high of 8/7/97 held (oh,ehem..draw it a little thicker than normal :o)) and last week's low held, too. SEA is red again so we could see another little (intraday) pullback to 8209 (12/5/97 high) but that should be it.
Today's bounce was pretty impressive, TICK went through the roof. Still lots of bargain hunters out there, willing to jump on the train immediately. Only a real shake - 700 points down or so - could change that.
I don't expect new highs but some good news (maybe DELL earnings ?) could take us to 9100.
I'll go long tomorrow and play the GBS short as a hedge.
