Good point KAA but most of the time when you have a spread like the one that this stock has had (since the reverse), it usually is the MM trying to keep the stock price up and avoid people selling off their positions. If you look back to the split that's exactly what happened, a totally RIDICULOUS bid x ask. Even the inside spread was bad! You should see the kinds of "behind the scenes" things that take place. I goto wall street about 3 to 5 times per month, I have many colleagues and friends who work in the financial district. Trust me their is alot to watch out for, but MM's stratedgy is a wide spectrum depending on who is involved.
