Monty; Roger on the depth recorders sometimes giving a poor reading
on a soft bottom..hmm we use to adjust the sensitivity a bit
to check for that.
I hate to ask but can you tweak the major scans you made yesterday
say just the NYSE , S&P500 , and Nazdaq, down to a 10 DMA.
Maybe a shorter wave length will confirm or disqualify the 20dma.

(1) You remember I said I would have thought it to be worse,
than it was. My Radar fix don't jive with the depth recorder.

While the 20DMA didn't set a lower low, and nor did most of indexes
we had a mean selling price ( average price ) that was indeed
lower than the last low. Also the tick avg was below last wed.
A 10DMA may be helpful.
