Hi George, I figured it would be a better idea to do my FNet speculation over here. So, the latest rumors from several who have talked to Franklin in the past month is that we are talking March of 1999 for the IPO.

A couple of months ago they were still leaving the window open for a late '98 IPO but IMO the new guys at Franklin have decided its best to have a quarter of accelerating revenues to show and tell with before going public. And if that's the difference between a $5 or a $15 IPO I would agree.

I would also think that given the fact this IPO has been postponed so many times that March would be a worst case timing and that Oct-Dec numbers should be available early enough to do a late January or February IPO. Many think that Winter IPOs don't do well but for internet stocks timing doesn't seem to make much difference. Look at what Geocities IPO did yesterday with the overall market in the dumpster.

Anyone have any other thoughts or opinions?

Bruce
