You are a prime example of one that does not understand. When I sell my GIC I will make more money in capital gains than it earned for the underlying shares in terms of earnings. These men are going to roll this money into further capital ventures. These men are capitalists in the genre of Rockefeller, Ford, Carnegie et al. They are industry builders.
