SAP bounced +5% up on the DAX, opened up +3 USD on the DOW, hit $54; NOK.A did something similar. Actually, I was looking for the DAX to blow down to ~5000 last night, so that I could grab these two, buy more EuroWEBS.
As it happened, the StockPros see the CurrencyPros bid up the Yen futures, so they bid up the S&P futures before the DAX opened: the DAX index bellwethers go up, and all we're doing is wasting time. One more -2.5% day on the DAX and we'd have been there, done that.
Without RealKapital, today's DAX/DOW bounce will be merely a futures - induced index rally. Does reveal the cream that rises, though.
Some TechStock bellwethers here continue to recover better than all the BigBoard sectors, save our Retail stocks, which just happen to be reporting their (strong) earnings this week.
