"G3s. Where's the refresh. At this point I'd be guessing that G3 sales
has slowed to a trickle. Does anyone have in any info. Last article I
saw was a refresh announced today. Not even a press release announcement yet."

What I am hearing is that the current Pro G3s are actually flying off the shelf. Sales of these older systems are better than expected due to beginning of Edu season and lower prices. Announcements of the speed bumped systems are expected sometimes today.

If you look at the pictures Apple posted yesterday on iMac production line at Sacramento plant you can actually spot a few blue boxes behind the forklift. Those are suppose to be the "speed bumped" G3 systems.

So it appears that not only is the Sacramento plant running 24 hours a day to make iMacs but it is also cranking out the new G3 Pro systems as well. G3/366 has been benchmarked at 1298 (MacBench processor score)

Good luck today all
Eric
