Wasted on the inhabitants for the most part.

If you think Canadians want to go there for business or pleasure to fight restrictive language and employment regulations that guarantee you won't be able to conduct your business at a profit or your vacation without a hassle then you have another thing coming. Its not like I don't know the province. I used to spend 3 weeks there every year since 1952. I have worked there too. And I speak a smattering of fr. I cannot work or contract there anymore and I will be damned if I go there to spend money, as attractive a resort as Mt. Tremblant is.

If they want fairness they had better start by being fair. I don't make this stuff up by an overactive imagination from reading the newspapers.. although I don't like what I read. I have been slapped in the face with politics and language ignorance many a time while vacationing in the province and trying to find employment there. The barrier is parochial insularism with political intransigence and power complex as its raison d'etre. If a European country wants tourisms trade or investment they cater to the people who will tour invest or trade. They don't hang signs saying don't bother us in your language you damned English (maudites anglais.. don't tell me you haven't heard it.)
