I don't know if any of you holds any of the Legg Mason value trusts, but their most recent quarterly report includes an interesting explanation for why they continue to hold AOL. Basically, they value the company at anywhere from 110-175 based on the concept of future free cash flow. FYI. I don't own AOL in my own portfolio, but as it makes up 7% of the Value Trust, I guess I own quite a bit of it second-hand.
