That's not my understanding, nor is it that of various articles I've read in the WSJ and Forbes. Institutions are considered to be flipping if they sell over the first several days, not merely the first few seconds.
I sold half at the end of trading and the other half at market opening today. And I consider myself a flipper along with the broker who wanted me to hold the stock.
