Tony: Notwithstanding further delays in the introduction of the Xeon chip, it appears that Intel is relying upon Xeon to be the next driver in its earnings. As the the following posts shows, there is a lot of corporate enthusiam for Xeon.

My question to you is what sort of revenue can Symbios expect to receive from each Xeon server sold, and how many Xeon servers will be sold in '99? I am assuming that Symbios had the Xeon contract even before it was sold. Is that true?

Do you have know whether Symbios SCSI technology is just as applicable to Unix based systems as well? Just trying to get a feel for the potential growth.
