all the posts talking about quick doubles, etc.

I've noticed over the past couple years that the definitions of "short term", and "long term" have changed drastically.
It must be the instantaneous nature of the internet leading many to expect instant gratification.

Long term used to mean just that, LONG term. Real estate is long term. 10 years is long term. Buffett invests for the long term.

Now I see many considering 6 months long term, and short term is down to weeks, days, and even minutes.

I think 6 months is a pretty quick double, and will be delighted to see HDIE in high 7s by Halloween. [And I think I am being *very* conservative with that number!]
