Trey, But you can't kill them off. If you ever saw the terrific movie, SoapDish, with Kevin Kline, Whoopi Goldberg and Sally Field, you would know what I mean. Kevin and Sally starred on a soap and they were an item. Then, Kevin left, so they had his character decapitated in a car wreck. Years later, with ratings falling, they wanted to bring him back.
"But his head was cut off," Whoopi says.
"Then he had a head transplant," the director answered.
But the movie was a flop because you cannot satirize a farce.
Which brings us back to this runup in MU. Nothing funny to say about how wack the great unwashed are today.
