Novell's IntranetWare products run atop of NetWare 4.x. However, I do
believe that it runs of the run-time version which is provided in the box. the run time version is like a zero-one user version of NetWare 4.x. In other words, users cannot log into it as they do with say a 250 user version of NetWare.

Independents are saying that this is the major disadvantage of IntranetWare. NetWare was never designed as an applications server
(how true is subject to debate).
