Maybe those who are expecting a 4 to 5 point daily runup should consider the internet stocks? Good post Jim, I've also noticed the concern about Dell's stock price; however, when I compare it with CPQs, Dell is usually doing better, on a percentage basis. (CPQ is the only other PC stock on my data screen).

Otherwise, it seems we are having normal daily activity. The attached chart shows that during the Oct.'97 timeframe because of the Asian situation, a sideways trading action occurred. We are currently also experiencing fallout from Asia so given the overall market conditions, Dell is doing very well overall, and also compared with MSFT and CSCO and CPQ today.
