Well, the stock is up right now. I haven't been monitoring it to see when the price kicked up during the day. So that's good.

I haven't read the IBD article, but it makes sense that when a company launches a buyback, like any other buyer it will maintain a price cutoff on purchases and if the price gets too high, it stops buying. It's a good sign to have a buyback announced, especially one of this size (up to 4% of the outstanding shares), but I don't think TRMB will chase the stock at any price.

However, it puts the company's money where its mouth is, that it thinks the stock is underpriced. Here's a corporate finance program that can increase EPS!
