At this time there
seems to be no reduction in DELL's growth rate by any one of
those two metrics. In fact there may be an acceleration in those two
metrics.
Just looking at the earnings reports at the Dell website for this year and last year shows that this is completely false. Growth rate is declining and will continue to decline because of sheer size. Dell is a great company, but I don't understand why people can't recognize the basic fact that the stock price has already far outstripped actual growth rates. You can talk about how Dell is selling over the Internet, how it's containing costs, how much building Dell is doing, how much computer sales are increasing, but all that just adds up to the actual growth rate as stated in each of Dell's earnings report, and that growth rate is considerably less this year than last.
