International Absorbents Reports Record Sales in Third Quarter
Third quarter revenues were a record $1,166,719, versus $994,579 for
the same period last year and an increase of 12% from second quarter
sales of $1,045,459. Due to non-recurring charges and higher raw
material costs, the net loss for the quarter was $835,222 or six cents
per share, compared to net incom o $9,267, or less than one cent per
share for the comparable period in 1995. For the nine months, sales
increased 19% to $3,388,514 from the prior year's $2,850,875. Net loss
for the nine months was $981,534, or $.07 per share, versus a profit
of $26,523, or less than one cent per share for last year's first nine
