"How many companies do you know that replace their COO just before "positive" earnings?
Interesting first post. Welcome to the Netscape board. It's always a good idea though to have your facts straight before posting. Netscape didn't have a COO. Hope you didn't short based upon that alone!"

interesting point. if i were the CEO and had bad earnings to report, I would wait after reporting to name a new COO, hoping the new appointment would compensate the bad earnings a little. anyway, what's the rush, as they say.

also, if the earnings were not good, they would have also held the announcements on CITI, FORD deals until next week. What's the rush, as they say.

so, i guess the earnings will be good.
