Buyback ??
This is a great forum, and though I know it is not intended to be a Q and A discussion, I am very interested in knowing what a buyout is. I was watching IDCN today which opened at .04 and closed at .145 - 160% gain. The news out on it is as follows:

CMI Capital and Their European
Partners Makes an Offer for All the Issued
and Outstanding Capital Stock of Indocan
Resources Inc

Business Wire - August 12, 1998 11:45

MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 12, 1998--CMI capital of Montreal and their European partners have made an offer for all the issued and outstanding capital stock of Indocan Resources Inc. (OTC BB:IDCN) at a price of $0.375 per share. The offer is in effect untilSeptember 1, 1998.

Does this mean that the company will buy back stock at .375 per share, no matter what the current price is??

Thanks!
