That said, I use ADBE's software every day - Illustrator & PhotoShop. Larry Digman's comments are uninformed! Be assured that the aforementioned software represents the leading edge in industry applications. I don't think that you will find too many professionals in the graphic arts business using anything else. Mr. Digman's story is a good example of the adage, "Don't believe everything you read". Except that that's not what Mr Digman was saying. He wasn't saying that Illustrator and Photoshop are bad products. He's saying that Illustrator and PageMaker (not Photoshop) haven't seen significant upgrades in quite a while. The whole point of his story was that Adobe took its eye off the ball. Let's face it -- PageMill is getting the crap kicked out of it by other HTML tools. And Photoshop already has something like 90% market share. Not much room for further growth there.
