I've been programming, interfacing (as in to control external devices, acquire & munch data, etc.) and using all types computers from "minis" to mainframes since the late '70s. In my small world of interfacing, I've worked very closely interacting with my clients to develop applications to be easy to use and fit their needs, so I think I have a fair idea as to what makes good human interface. I and those I've worked with like to get things done with the tools at hand, seamlessly and with as few roadblocks as possible. Guess which brand 'puter (ok, ok, O.S.) I have (& want) on my desk and at home.
