The September 1998 issue of PC WORLD magazine has MUEI rated best buy in 3 categories. TOP 20 POWER DESKTOPS-#1 Micron Millennia 400 #2 Gateway GP6-400 #3 Micron Millennia 350 TOP 5 POWER HOME PCs #1 Micron Millennia 400 TOP 5 BUDGET HOME PCs #1 Micron Millennia 266 MUEI did not rate in either the TOP 20 BUDGET DESKTOPS,or TOP 10 LAPTOPS.(power and budget) I am very encouraged that Prudential Securities and C.S. First Boston have put out a BUY on MUEI only 5 weeks before earnings,especially since MUEI has disappointed the last few quarters. Let us hope that Joel Kocher,the new C.E.O.,and a former Dell executive, has managed the turnaround that we have been waiting for such a long time. Manny T.
